Joshua's dad shares his conversion story
When asked about his conversion to Christianity, my father said that
He had an early, unconscious inclination towards Christianity, singing Christian songs as a teenager.
He was initially involved in both Islam and idolatry.
Noticing that practitioners of supernatural powers were dying unexpectedly, he became interested in Christianity for eternal life.
He converted after and invited a Christian friend to share the gospel in his village where few people also gave their lives to Christ.
When asked about post-conversion experience my father said that
He faced family opposition and was asked to leave the family home.
He built his own house and led his family in Christian worship.
He became a pastor until his recent retirement.
Outcome:
Despite challenges, he persevered in his faith.
He outlived many of those who opposed, threatened and wished him dead.
He attributes his survival and well-being to Jesus' care for him and his family.
